Tennessee Inventors Association (TIA) Meeting Newsletters

The Tennessee Inventors Association sends a monthly newsletter to members and visitors. The newsletters contain notes on the previous meeting and information on other items of interest. Some newsletters include pdf copies of the handouts. To view these handouts, Adobe Acrobat or other pdf file reader/viewer program must me installed on your computer.

July 2009 Meeting with Tom Whisman, Knox County Library

Tom Whisman, the Business Reference Manager at the Knox County Public Library, gave an informative presentation at the July meeting.  Tom started his presentation by briefly talking about the new Knox County Library building.  Currently, plans are being made, but nothing is finalized yet.

The Knox County Library has 1-hour free parking at the Locust Street Garage for those wishing to visit the downtown library branch.

The Tennessee Inventors Association (TIA) presented a Seminar for Inventors on August 16, 2008. The Seminar, Opportunities for Innovation in East Tennessee, was held at the Tech2020 building in Oak Ridge, TN (see the map for directions).
