March 2014 Richard Steinle

Meeting Date:
March 22, 2014

Our March 2014 speaker was Richard Steinle, a local inventor. Richard presented his idea about shooting short videos about inventors and their inventions and/or ideas. The short videos could be combined to make a 30 minute segment that will hopefully be broadcast on local television.

Richard Steinle gave a presentation about moving ideas and inventions to the next level. Richard suggests that, because each of us knows our ideas thoroughly, each of us should write a blog about the idea or functionality of the device. The next step is for a videographer to shoot snippets about each inventor and his/her invention. By thoroughly knowing their invention, the inventor need only divulge the basic functions, keeping product specifics proprietary. Once all the video snippets are shot and edited, they would be combined into a 30 minute video that can be aired on a local television channel. This would be a great way for inventors to seek financial backing, manufacturing assistance, and branding of a product or name.
